Pastel Painted Hexagon Feature Wall

After a very long time I got to paint a wall and Guess What? We chose a design which took us about 9 hours. Of course how could we ever settle for anything less intensive. How could that ever be possible in my life. But i do really love this wall so I can’t really complain.
A simple Hexagon stencil cut out from cardboard.
From that point on wards it was pretty much a straightforward process. Place the stencil and then tape around it. Simple yet time consuming. After taping the entire wall, when we took a step back we realized that this wasn’t all hexagons. We had planned a wall full of hexagons and nothing but hexagons.
But there was a diamond pattern in the middle of every hexagon. WELL of course that was to happen because we didnt place the stencil at an angle when we were taping it we simply just went straight up and down and to the sides. This was bound to happen.
This was actually the best mistake/’decision'( lets just assume it was all part of the plan. Shall We ) because it was the perfect place to fill in some Gold color.
After that we painted the hexagons in the pastel shades and thats it All Done.

I really like this idea! I am considering an accent wall using teal and white.
