A Solution for Cleaning Marble

One of my readers had a question about cleaning their kitchen and bathroom marble counter. I give a solution of using very mild cleanser like a dye-free dish soap and a product called Basic H, then I give you a very important tip to follow to keep your marble shining!

    Must look into that solution. I use (for hard stains like rust) a paste made of baking soda and club soda. I mixing it into a paste and then place it like a poultice on the affected area. I then place a sheet of saran wrap over it a towel over that and if flat a board with a few pounds of weight or if as in a sculpture where it is in the round I tape the saran wrap into place. I leave it for a few days; 2 to 4 and when I finally remove the poultice the stains are as a rule gone. If some ...»
    staining is still present I repeat the process only this time I make the paste a bit wetter so as to work deeper and wick away the remnant rust/mold or ? It totally works. I use Claphams beeswax/lavender polish which fills the pores and buff in between the applications.

    Basic H is great for cleaning EVERYTHING !! My aunt & uncle sold Shaklee for 30 years.You can even feed it to your plants.My mother joked: "If I die- soak me in Basic H for three days.If I don't revive-bury me :-)

    If you have young children who are forever getting "boo-boo's". Put a cap full of Basic H in their bath water. They go away much faster, you also have less insect bites. itchy bites, just "stick your finger in the Basic-H bottle and rub it on the bite. Itch gone. LORILL, use the water you have cleaned "everything else" with to feed your plants. Just don't water too often, that over does it. warning: "enough is enough too much is waste" and it can kill your plants. I have also seen it kill ...»
