Backsplash for Kitchen

The Garden Frog with C Renee on Sep 28, 2014I would check out some of the tile at Lowe's. There are some 12x12" that are beautiful. I would think about some stone or granite to give it some style-what is your countertop? that is also important-so the backsplash does not compete with it. But start looking in the aisles of Lowe's for inspiration! Good luckHelpful Reply

Bananas! on Sep 29, 2014[houzz=http://www.houzz.com/photos/1633447/Bella-Rosa-Court-traditional-kitchen-little-rock] This one is opposite of what you describe, but quite beautiful...unusual to put white subway with cream cabinets, but I wonder what it would be like in reverse? cream with white? note the colour of granite...Helpful Reply

Sue P. on Mar 19, 2015Go to Overstock.com and do a search on Green Backsplash. There is a beautiful one called SomerTile 11 x 9.75-inch Casablanca Thalia Porcelain Mosaic Tile. You'll see numerous examples. Once you get the name of the tile you like, use Google to search for that tile from other sources as well. We bought our tile from Overstock.com then found the same thing from Home Depot via Special Order and from other sources.Helpful Reply

Terra Gazelle on Aug 20, 2015I go by the adage that nature colors go with nature colors...it really depends on the green you are using...The green I am using is one by Sherwin Williams Majolica. The color really has a bit of gray to it. My backsplash is glass mosaic two tones of green, copper and almond that will match the tall pantry cabinets I am painting. I obsessed over the colors.Helpful Reply
