Garden accessory made from a vintage salt & pepper set

This plant "poke" is made from a vintage salt & pepper set. Remove the plastic or cork fill stopper on the underside and mount it on a stick. Place in a plant to doll it up!

This is so cute. Also good way to use those widowed shakers after their mate has gotten broken or chipped.

Good idea, Donna! Broken on purpose or "accidentally" : )

Wish I had seen your post a month ago - there were at least 50 vintage salt and pepper shakers at Restore. I bought a few but would have gotten many more for fun plant gifts and for myself! I love this idea!

Adorable idea - there are often so many 'single' cute salt and pepper shakers -- perfect use for them!

So cute. I have a little snail salt shaker (yes, I know - I was a kid once) that would be perfect in the garden.

I like the idea but don't know if I would use vintage items. I bought a set of S&P shakers that look vintage at Pier 1.

My friend made great garden and flower bed decorations using small colored odd shaped bottles and the small colored oil lamps, then mounted them on the top of rer-bar which she bent into odd shapes, so I am now a thrift store junkie constantly looking for these items. Never thought of salt and pepper shakers.. Super Idea Thanks
