How to Make a Fall Sign With Junk!

So I really wanted to make a fall sign to go on my front porch...using random letters that I found at antique stores. So I set out to some of the best antique stores around with a group of friends. They were all on a mission for me {while they shopped for their own treasures} to help find those letters! Well, after a day of shopping, I hadn't even found 1 letter! That's when I had to get creative!
Here is my new fall sign...made with junk!
The "F" and both of the "L's" are made from vintage carpenter's rulers. I just opened them up into the shapes of the letters.
I attached them to the old barnwood with nails. I hung each letter with strategically placed nails.
The "A" is a vintage stapler with a silver baby spoon duck taped across the middle.
I'm LOVING my Fall sign! Sometimes when your first plan doesn't work out...your second one is even better! Happy Fall!
