Make a special cork board for your craft space with vintage wood spools. Find them at the thrift store - you can find your cork board there too. Display reminders, favorite pictures, fabric swatches, or artwork.
My Vintage Wood Spool Cork Board was fun to make and is still one of my all-time favorites.
I wrapped the frame with jute twine for some color and texture.
I arranged my spools (in all different sizes) on the frame until I was happy with the look. For the large spools, I glued them on their sides, but for some of the small spools, I glued them on one end to show off the vintage label.
I use mine to display a beloved piece of art.
