Like Clip

How we spent spring break 2010

The steps in our 1900 farmhouse were incredibly steep and narrow so it was one of the first major projects we tackled. With plenty of help from friends and family, it became a beautiful set of steps, complete with barn wood rails, a chandelier in the stairwell and eventually, carpet.

    Haha, that's nice of you to think--I think we tackled some of these projects out of necessity than out of bravery. There are a few photos at the end that show the more complete staircase. I'll share the rest of the project tomorrow...

    Oh, yes. They were fed very, very well. I'm very blessed to have helpers that will do incredibly hard work for a free meal. :)
