How can I spruce up my little patio. It just has the flat brick squares laid on the ground . It needs help???

Judi on Aug 06, 2012Sounds like some good ideas especially filling in the cracks wiyh a ground cover,My flowers and deco I have look good but also want to consider the ground cover on a small area in front of sitting area where we can't seem to get the grass to grow. would the se same ground cover work for that? I am not the greatest on computers so don't really know how to post pictures on here but maybe one day.Helpful Reply

Judi on Aug 06, 2012Thanks for the ideas and they all sound good but still looking and researching.Definitely want to fill in cracks and a small area with ground cover of some type,maybe even some moss. Am going to look around and see what is available in those lines. Might even go in the woods and dig some moss. My daughter has done that with great success.Helpful Reply

Eclectically Vintage - Kelly on Aug 06, 2012Try some beds around the patio - no straight lines, more curvy. Plant some foundation plants (maybe boxwoods) then fill in with ground cover and perennials. Add some colorful vintage furniture and a few ceramic garden stools and you're set. Jeanette S on Aug 07, 2012You can enlarge your area by chosing a spot off the main area for a sitting area. Move out about 6-8 feet or however big you want, clean out all the grass in a semi circle area, line the perimeter with your choice of rocks you can pick up at a stone place or something of your choice, place 4-5 block path to a bench sitting on muluch or crushed rock. Finish it off with a beautiful pot (or pots) of flowers. Easy to keep up and very pretty.Helpful Reply
