Very pretty, but I'm surprised, given the level of violence in Mexico, that anyone there would have this much glass in their home. Is this home surrounded by a wall?

I've thought that as well Becky H. I see these beautiful homes on House Hunters International and they have such lovely surroundings and pools, etc. but I can't help wondering about the safety of it all. Perhaps there is something we don't understand or know about the areas.
