Barn Wood Dining Table (in Progress)

Here's what we have on going.. Some may say it appears finished. We still have some tweaks here and there. Plus, I need to seal it. Feedback would be appreciated. Simply, this was a table we had that I replaced the top with new 2x12 boards and distressed to appear old. By no means are we experts, but with research and help from sites like this, I think we are managing. Two upholstered chairs will be added eventually.

Evey's Creations on Oct 02, 2014Hi! :) My advice would be to seal it with either General Finishes' Top Coat in Satin, or to us a wipe on poly, Minwax's is great. :)

M on Oct 03, 2014We were advised to try the Acrylic Poly and it did not give us the look we wanted to achieve (Plastic). Therefore, we have been re-sanding and tweaking. Initially, we thought the wipe on poly would give it a tone that we might not like. We are using the Minwax wipe on poly next. Hope that works. Thanks.
