KMS Woodworks on Aug 15, 2011It looks like you might have a clearance issue with the moldings along this vertical edge. (The left side of this moving panel) it is possible to install a beveled piece along the top that could accommodate the angle and not bind..but it would lack the "picture frame" appeal that most of these border install strive for.. How "married" are you to this thing...its a pretty big monster. Perhaps down sizing the main mirror and framing that?Helpful Reply

Karen C on Aug 15, 2011I'm definitely happy to divorce it! My only issue was removing the side pieces and spackling the walls but I think in the end that's a small price to pay to make bring it into the 21st century. Thank you for your time and advice!!Helpful Reply

Traci C on Aug 15, 2011i think getting rid of the mirror and then spackling/repairing the wall is worth it... if you have a double sink vanity, what about hanging two framed mirrors over each sink with a vanity light over each?? like this:Helpful Reply

Nichter's Home Services Corp on Aug 15, 2011Before you get rid of this, please let me know what the manufacturer is. I have been asked twice in the last six years to custom build one almost exactly like you show because nobody could find a way to buy itHelpful Reply

JL Spring & Associates on Aug 15, 2011Those pieces were most popular because you could see the back of your head and see if you need a trim or not or just how good you looked in that new black shift. @Traci, that's a nice look,... yours?Helpful Reply
