can I build a narrow tallboy chest of drawers from pallets
I have a 32.5 inch space I'd love to use for storage. I need items hidden, so I'd like drawers, my hsband is 6.4, so it needs to be tall

You can construct pretty much anything out of pallets where wood is required, but understand that many pallets are used in commercial applications, they often come pretty beat up with lots of splinters and nails. Some have chemical spill on them that have been absorbed. So be sure of the pallets your getting. As far as using this wood, It may not be the perfect although low cost material you expect. Pallets are often made of low grade type lumber and often because of how they are made consist of different types on the same pallet. With a project such as a set of drawers, you may be better off buying popular wood and using it. Its a low cost hardwood that is easy to work with and can be stained and painted easily.

yes you can, The width will determine the actual size of the drawers, and the space you are looking for. Height is no problem.
