What is this tree?
Ok plant geeks, this one has me stumped! A customer brought this into the store today and said there was a whole row of these tree's with these interesting looking 'flowers'. My instinct says it's a Prunus, but diseased with some sort of gall.
Any guesses?

It is a Magnolia-by the looks of the fruit I would say it is Magnolia kewensis possibly "Wada's Memory".
