A Simple Fall Mantel
Crisp days motivated me to update our mantel with decor suited for this gorgeous New England Fall.
My tastes have changed and evolved over the years. I find myself leaning towards a simpler and quieter look to our decor these days.
A neutral palette and a gathering of a few pumpkins seemed to be 'just enough'. No frills, nothing sparkly - just plain and simple but it works for us.
The outside landscape is bursting with color and I have learned that you can't compete with Mother Nature. I like to think of our mantel as being a whisper of the beauty outside.
