I didn't know this little cleaner was my best kept secret to cleaning tile and grout until I tried it. Stains and dirt that soap, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide couldn't touch this fabulous cleaner removed with ease.
Before: deep brown and dirty.
My best kept secret: Bon Ami. This cleaner is about a $1 at the grocery store. Sprinkle for a medium to liberal coverage, then spray with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water.
Scrub with a brush, rinsing the brush regularly in water. Let the runny paste sit for at least 5-10 minutes before wiping up and a thorough rinse.
After: Light sandy, clean grout.

Where can I buy in the United Kingdom
I wonder if you can use a grout brush instead of a toothbrush
You say lightly sand, can you expand on that, ie - what grit sandpaper?
Many thanks, I'm so ready to get rid of dirty grout in my kitchen!
