Such a great idea, Megan! -
Thanks so much Miriam :) -
Wow, I just saw that it has 2.5K shares! -
How is that even possible? Lol. -
Probably via Pinterest. I'd say it's gone viral :) -
I wish I was as creative as most of the people on Hometalk. This is a great idea. -
Thanks for stopping by Jeff. I saw the idea somewhere and realized I could use pallet wood. :) -
I work at a grocery store so getting a wood pallet shouldn't be a problem. I'm thinking about creating a Dale Earnhardt inspired bottle opener as a gift for my uncle. These bottle openers would make for great Christmas gifts. -
I agree with you! That sounds like a great idea. :) -
what a neat idea thanks for sharing . i am new to hometalk and i am finding so many wonderful ideas . -
Thanks so much, Laura. :) -
I picked up the pallets yesterday, purchased a 1 dollar black bucket from target. I picked up some spraypaint of the team colors for the pallet and I already have the hook so now all I need to do is find some stickers of the team as well as a big bottle opener I can screw into the board and I'll be all set. -
Just bought several of the openers....wow you just gave me the idea of what to do next, they will make great gifts!!! Great idea! -
Where did you get the openers?? This is such a cool idea! -
I got them on Ebay and Amazon. :) -
Found the wall-mounted bottle opener on Amazon for about 18 bucks. Not cheap because it's an NFL team item but for this unique project, it's a cost I'm willing to pay. Decided to get spray paint that closely matches the team. Hoping to complete the project over the weekend. -
That's awesome, Jeff. That's not actually a bad deal for an NFL one. My husband wants to do an Oriole one now. I'll have to let him know you found some on Amazon for a sports team. Please let me know when you post yours. :) -
Hey Mega, I finished my version of the pallet bottle opener. http://www.hometalk.com/526453/cleveland-bro... Thanks for the inspiration. -
Yours turned out fantastic, Jeff! I pinned it to my pinterest wall. :)
