So I bought this chicken coop for myself last August as a birthday present! Well it got turned into an industrial coffee table…and then it got sold! It was very easy to add industrial size casters to the coop. But you do need some power tool experience. And you do need casters that have breaks on them for obvious reasons……you don't want your coffee table rolling away from ya'!
Here she is all dressed up on my porch.
Here she is dressed in some vintage flags and stars made out of foldable rulers.
I added 1x6's to make a thicker base to add the caster pins and to raise up the coop to minimum recommended coffee table height of 18 inches.
I added the casters and then stained to match and sealed with poly.
