Halloween Mantel

This year I decided to use book pages and a chalkboard in a flea market frame to decorate our mantel for Halloween.
I cut pennant shapes from book pages using 3 pages for each pennant and hot glueing them together. I then mod podged the top of them and added silver glitter to the edges. When they were dry I punched a hole in the top of each used ribbon to tie the pennants to a tulle ribbon.
I used leaf garlands and white lights on top of the mantel with a branch from the yard draped across.
I bought the crows and the drapey fabric under the garland from the Dollar tree store . DIY sweater pumpkins in off white with the crows sitting on top. The glittery pumpkins came from Walmart.
I had a board cut for the frame at Home Depot. I painted it with chalkboard paint, and then just freehanded the Jack-O-Lantern.
Love how it turned out! Happy Halloween!
