What is your strangest source of color inspiration for the home?
This month, I am inspired by beans - thanks to williams sonoma's catalog cover artwork - embracing purple in the home. I would love to hear where you get your color inspiration?

I remolded my kitchen. I had some pillows on my couch and I told my husband, one day I'm going to paint my kitchen this color. Well he thought I was crazy because the color is a light eggplant. So I painted all my dark cabinets white w/ lt. Gray in the middle, silver hardware and painted my walls Venetian purple.And it's beautiful! I've had so many compliments on it. I put up a backsplash that has a hint of , purple, silver, orange, it's a stone type and it was the first time to for me to tile. I loved it. Oh and my husband loves it!

Beautiful! We took a particularly beautiful fall leaf to Lowe's and had them match several shades. I did a sort of pseudo Italian plaster look in our sunroom. It turned out really nice.
