Pumpkin Carving...The Easy Way!

Easy

There had been only a few times that I went through the trouble or carving a pumpkin using those little carving knife sets. I tried to kept the decorating to a minimum, two triangular eyes, a nose and a serrated mouth, yeah basic and anyways the results were not pretty. Well, not any more. This year, I'm using power tools to the job! and what a job!

This is my latest creation. A feather design was carved on this big pumpkin using an oscillating tool. The best part: It was easy and I ended up with a beautiful one of a kind design.

Using the oscillating tool, a lid was cut off and the filling from the pumpkin was removed.

The geometric design was traced all around the pumpkin.

Then, using the oscillating tool, the design was carved.
