Rustic Autumn Kitchen Wreath

Make this wreath with a wire wreath, burlap, fabric and some fall accessories. A spare couple of hours is all you need. See the complete tutorial at Recaptured Charm.
Start with some fall colored fabric. You might have an old shirt or table cloth that you can cut up and use. If you don't, you can find some odds and ends at Walmart or your local fabric store. Cut your fabric in strips, all the same size.
I used very loose woven burlap with proved to be a bit challenging to work with. It will fray a lot while cutting it. Just trudge on and keep cutting. Tie all your burlap and fabric strips to the wire wreath, no glue necessary! Don't worry the frayed burlap will add to the rustic charm. Make it nice and full.
I added small faux apples and mums and some odd little autumn sprigs I found at Michaels.
My favorite part of this wreath is this half rolling pin I found at Michaels. I just love it. I actually found the rolling pin first. The entire wreath was created around this rolling pin.
As with some other delicate wreaths, if you are going to use this loose woven burlap I don't suggest you use it outdoors.
Since I have an extensive collection of wreaths, it's very important to store them properly. I hang the wreath on a hanger (using the loop you would use to hang it on the wall) and cover it with a clear plastic dry cleaners bag.
