Vintage Bathroom Renovation

Here's a great before and after demo project...our family bathroom. We removed the old sink/cabinet, nasty brown tile and restored our bathroom's charm with classic black and white hexagon tile and fun turquoise wall paint. The sink and the fun enamel cabinet was a cheap find from craigslist. To read about our project, visit my blog for more info: http://thesavvyseeker.com/2012/05/01/before-...

You are absolutely correct in your statement that you've restored its charm!! Love that you installed the subway tile w/the black liner (trim). The turquoise is a very playful color. Great job!

Great look, we did something similar to a 70 year old farmhouse with small bathrooms. May I suggest, just my opinion, that a white frame or chrome frame on your mirror might complete the look. Good job!

I'm on the hunt for a period mirror...maybe a deco mirror without a frame? I think that will finish off our bathroom's new look and feel:)

What about one of those vintage metal mirrored medicine cabinets? That would fit nicely in with the look you have going.

What a gorgeous job! I'm drawn over and over again to classic subway tile and a vintage feel in bathrooms.....and this one fits right in!

Erin, I think the vintage period mirror, there are some great reproductions out there that are fairly reasonable in cost.
