How to paint plastic outdoor chairs
-
Shari on Oct 13, 2014Take a walk down the paint aisle of any Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart etc., and you will see spray paint in a can that is formulated for plastics. As I recall, Rustoleum is one brand that has paint for plastics. I've used it to change the color of cheap, plastic flower pots. Clean the chairs well with soap and water (or bleach and water if there is mildew), let the chairs dry and then paint. Works great!Helpful Reply

Julie Dever on Oct 14, 2015I powerwashed the chairs with weak bleach and water solution, to get rid of any mildew that might be there. Allowed to dry completely, then used the Rustoleum for plastics in two green shades, one for each chair. Wonderful solution!Helpful Reply
