This native is called Rudbeckia subtomentosa 'Henry Eilers', hardy zone 5-7, I love the quilled petals- full sun is best,
Enjoyed the project?

Cathy on Jul 19, 2014Just planted a beautiful rust colored, double petal rudbeckia yesterday ... this morning, my beautiful blooms are gone... something liked them as much as I did (could it be deer, rabbits, woodchucks?????) ... will dig up and put in a pot on my deck for now, I guess.
