Salvaged Drawer Front Coat Rack
by

A neighbor was about to throw a couple of antique furniture drawer fronts into the trash, but I intervened and rescued them.
I have no idea what piece of furniture this drawer front originally went with, but I have a suspicion that my neighbor is using it for tool storage!
I recently won an Ebay auction of some vintage doorknobs, so I sorted through the box to find the perfect mismatched knobs for this project. I used some small dowels and Gorilla Wood Glue to secure the doorknobs into the original knob holes.
For color and shine I used Minwax Polyshades in Mission Oak. I'm not usually a fan of gloss, but I love the shine on this piece!
