Turning a garden shed into a pond......

We had an old garden shed....
We didn't want it anymore...
We turned it into a pond.
We broke the garden shed down until there was only about a meter of walls left. Closed up the entrance with bricks we rescued. Then we built an inner container from cement blocks to withstand the water pressure, adding a ridge for water plants on one side. Waterproofed the it with pond foil and filled her up.
Total cost: minimal. The cement blocks where cheap, the pond foil isn't very expensive either and all the other materials where repurposed from other projects. All it took was some guts and hard work.
