I am retired from Law Enforcement and am enjoying just being a homemaker and crafter. I love to paint,design,sew, and create unique projects from all that nature has to offer! Love to carve, draw, woodburn, and many other crafts. Love to clean my home, bake home made breads,desserts and cook! Guess I just love life in general and know that I have a Savior looking after me every day! I am blessed! Oh I almost forgot I love to knit, crochet , embroidery and quilt! I should have been bone looking like an octapuss! Lots of hands to MULTICRAFT! lol
Favorite area of home improvement:
Well I like to change the curtains, etc with the seasons so It is time to create some new curtains accesories, etc. Also love to work in my flowers and it is that time again! Plant, weed and reap the beauty of the results! I do not think there is a flower that I do not like.'So much to do in so little time!! We also plan on taking the carpet out of the master bedroom and put in some more wood flooring. Much better for allergies!

Gardening: Am searching for a house plant called flowering maple. Mine died and we love this plant. Appreciate help.
The leaf looks like a maple tree leaf and the flower looks like a single hollyhock or Hibiscus and blooms year round. It can grow quite tall.

Wildlife & Animals: Possom - does anyone know about these animals?
A possom walked so close to me so at first I was afraid. It looked at me, I looked at it and slowly it went away. Is there a anything I should know about this animal/rodent? What does it hurt/destroy? Should I call animal control?
