Bikes are always sweet with flower baskets in a garden but the fact that this is from your childhood years, really makes it special! I wish I had mine too.

I just commented on someone else's pic the other day...I've been on the lookout for an old bike to do this for a while, and the prices just keep going up and up on vintage bikes because this is catching on...at flea markets recently I have seen them prices anywhere from $150-500!! CRAZY!!! This is beautiful, great job, and I agree, it adds that much more to it, that the bike is from your childhood!!!

I have mine from when I was a kid against the tree in my yard. It has a basket on the front so it's perfect for flowers.

Glenda, you planned ahead! Wish I would have thought about wanting my old bike in the future. Once the age for a driver's license came along, the old bike was left behind. Doreen, does your sister know her old bike is a star on Hometalk???

We have my Father-in-laws old bike and I saw something similar to this the other and showed my hubby. I think we're going to do something like this. I love it.

A friend gave me an old bicycle last week. I have been looking for a rusty one, but they are not easy to find. She had this one stored under her house. I cannot wait until planting time so that I can add it to my yard art! I love what you did with yours. I looks like it is growing among the hostas!!
