Deb Soby on Oct 16, 2014I have a copper under-mount sink. The sink comes with the patina in tact but as you use the sink, (especially the dish cleaning side) the patina goes away no matter how careful you are. There are kits you can use to kind of stain the patina back on, but I like the way the real copper color comes through. I am actually toiling with the idea of stripping the patina so the sink is all the copper color we enjoy most. Sorry to go on and on, but I am very happy with my copper sink. It is also one of the best sinks to reduce bacteria from whatever you wash in it. Hope this helps.Helpful Reply
