Mouspad's aren't super widely used anymore with the ease of the built-in laptop mouse. But, I still like to use a mouse when I blog. My mousepad was dull, dingy, and quite gross from being a few years old. I didn't want to buy a new one, so I used a few things I had around the house and redid my own for incredibly cheap!!
Here's a before picture. (Upside down, but oh well!) Gross, right?
I used cardstock, and traced the mousepad on. I cut it out, and used washi tape to create my own geometrical pattern on the paper.
Then, I used my handy dandy Sharpies in gold and teal to color in the diamond shapes I had created. Once finished, I Mod Podged the paper onto my old mouspad.
I added a layer of Mod Podge on top as well to seal the paper, and I had myself a new pretty mousepad for essentially FREE!
Doesn't it just look SO much better? And much more girly!

Amanda @ Dwelling In Happiness on Oct 19, 2014@Dave kilzer Yep, I bet that'd totally work, great idea! Mod Podge is great stuff, and really makes it stay. Putting at least one coat of it over the top will keep it clean, and it dries clear, too!
