Teal and Orange Rustic Fall Mantle
My inspiration was the October cover of BHG magazine. It was just a blue glass bottle and orange pumpkins but I loved the color combo. I didn’t have any blue glass but I did have some teal vases so I used them instead.
I added a touch of orange with a floral stem. A couple of the flowers kept falling off the stem, so I just left them on the mantle. A couple of round wicker trays and vintage books, gave the mantle a rustic vibe. I finished the mantle off with fall colored mercury glass votive holders.
BTW, how cute is this teeny pumpkin with its’ vintage spool stem? I love how it turned out.
I stacked a couple of vintage picnic baskets and topped it with a mirror and more mercury glass candle holders. I told you I was into non traditional pumpkins this year and I made some using scraps of fabric and sticks.
