I love the look of your lamp. Great shade you chose.

I bought one of these kits last year to make a wine jug into a lamp, but none of the plugs are big enough.

Thank you for the nice compliments!

Becky - I wonder if you could wrap some cork (the kind that comes on sheets at the craft store) around the plug to make it a little bigger. Glue it in place with epoxy, and then the plug would look like an authentic cork. Just an idea.

Absolutely brilliant Mary! Why didn't I think of that? I mean it is a wine jug, right? I did look for larger corks, but couldn't find any, but not because of how it would look. My creative mind is lacking I guess. So sad since I breath much better when creative.

I very much like the mid-century planter as well.

This is so smart! Love the look and will be taking a second look at my vases. I too like that mid-century planter.

I have a couple similar vases of my Moms so I too like the one you have. Reminded me that they had a pair of MCM vases at one of our local thrift stores that I've been eying. Think I'll head up there and see if they still have them.
