Get organized for back to school

I used a $5 shutter door to organize all things kid and school. Over the door hooks and baskets made this a super easy and functional project. Read more here---> http://www.creatingreallyawesomefreethings.c...

Great look. Now the trick is getting the kids to put everything back in its place, instead of on every other surface in the house.

What a neat idea Jamie. I have a few of these I've purchased to make corner cabinets out of, but this idea is going to be used on the louvered shutters I have too. Thanks so much for sharing.

This is a great idea!!! LOVE IT! We have a 'brady bunch' family with 6 kids and each of them is going to get one of these made for them to keep track of their own items! Thanks for sharing...

Glad to get this great organizing idea. Been trying to figure a way to sort mail for the many family members and that going out. this will do the trick without taking a lot of space along with magazines and catalogs that all share each month! Thank you for the solution!!

I LOVE THIS IDEA --------------- AGAIN! WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER I USED A single WINDOW SHUTTER TO ORGANIZE MY PHOTOS AND MEMEMTOS! i HAD PIX OF MY GIRLFRIENDS, LAKE & BEACH TRIPS. PARTIES AND SCHOOL CHUMS ALL PINNED ON THE SHUTTER BOARD! I USED THIS FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS AT MY GRANDMOTHER'S HOUSE WHEN I WAS A TEEN. I STILL HAVE SOME OF THESE SOUVENIRS. IT WAS MY OWN PERSONAL STORYBOARD. THE COOL THING WAS YOU COULD ARRANGE IT LIKE A STORY BOARD. I HAD FORGOTTEN THIS ITEM.
