Removing old paint
-
Adrianne C on Oct 20, 2014Welcome to the world of house painters! I recommend getting familiar with paint scrapers. There are various ones available, I use a 5 in one tool all the time, and use a knife sharpener to keep it effective. A heat gun is also an effective tool, although it has caused fires if not used properly. Got to be careful particularly with what's behind what your trying to strip. They also have awesome paint removers, but some are so strong you about need a hazmat suit with helmet shield to use them! After stripping and fixing all 16 windows, you'll know why those paint guys charge what they do, and you may want to hire out! Have fun!Helpful Reply
