Growing veggies in the winter in ohio

I have a Green house. Actually a passive solar heating room. Recently bought the house. Wanting to try to grow through the winter. Any suggestions. Do's and don'ts also wanting to start chestnut trees. Any suggestions?

Assuming adequate light levels (passive solar rooms are generally south-facing) and night-time temperatures of not less than 45 degrees, you should be able to grow cool-season vegetables like beets, broccoli, chard, kohlrabi, spinach and lettuces.
