For The Birds
As a 40 year environmental advocate, and a resident of British Columbia's Boundary Bay region, a popular stopover on the Pacific Flyway migratory route that brings more than 5 million birds to the region annually.
I love birds and I worry about their survival in this changing, warming world.
Loss of habitat (where a species lives and eats) is the single greatest threat to our feathered friends.
I'm also a gardener who enjoys how bringing birdhouses and baths and feeders helps to restore bird-friendly space and beautify our outdoor living spaces.
