Bathroom cabinet paint
-
Carolinedavis on Oct 21, 2014Carmen, I have done that look a couple of ways. The easiest for starting with is to use a glaze. I got mine at Lowe's or Home Depot (can't remember which!) Glaze is in the specialty paint finish section. I get the clear glaze so I can use it for multiple projects. For a dark glaze with cream paint I would use a chocolate brown paint mixed into the glaze. The glaze gives you extra time to work. In small sections brush the mixture onto where you want the glaze. I use those disposable foam brushes for this. Then using an old t shirt, wipe it back off, leaving the glaze where you want it to stay. This look works best with cabinets that have molding or other nooks and crannies where the glaze can stay and highlight. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions. it is really easy and fun!Helpful Reply
