Master Bedroom Makeover
by

(IC: homeowner)
I am in the dreaming stage of redoing my master bedroom.
*Options I considered for this project:
Painting, finishing my walk in closet. removing the big, bulky closet we currently have in there. Perhaps some molding. Pictures, lighting and a standalone dresser with a big mirror.
*My motivation to do this project:
My wife and I are expecting our first child and I thought this would be a nice present for her.

Sunita P on Oct 15, 2010Awwwwww, I was getting excited that you wanted to do this for your wife. Then I read the baby is here :( I know it is exhausting but soon enough, you will get that inspiration to make it happen for her. Remodels can be relaxing in their own way, getting you away from the everyday activities. I’m sending extra energy your way today!

Chezwhick on Dec 21, 2011its only been about 15 months. finally got around to painting and rearranging. I went with a color called, "Muddled Berry". It did not photograph well so as soon as i figure out how to capture the true color i will post some pics. Got rid of some big closets and put up shelving in my walk in closet as well as a room for hanging space. What i didn't prepare for was how dark the room is now with the dark paint. for now we brought in a lamp but im thinking of a new dresser with a wall mirror with some track lighting. That should be enough.
