I have decided to install wood blinds in the master bedroom. I wanted to give the room a contemporary look.
*Options I considered for this project:
I considered hiring a professional to install the blinds, but after doing some research I realized, the installation process was not that bad.
*Questions and unexpected events that arose during the project:
Wrong measurements, but after the third try everything was a breeze.
*My motivation to do this project:
As a new homeowner, I'm constantly finding ways to improve anything in the home.
*Project Steps:
First Step read instructions included in the packaging, Second step gather all tools neeeded for installation before you begin project.
Mount brackets ,Always use all brackets
supplied. Always screw at min. two screws per bracket to insure secure mount.Position the headrail.Swing covers down and snap them down. Attach wand to tip of hook, slide the clean cover down and hold in place
Pretty Simple, your blinds are installed, you will have the option to test by by raising blinds up and down, try to do this at least 6 times.
Advice:
Check boxes for all parts. Measure at least twice. Make sure blinds are even.
Materials:
Electric Screwdriver - $100.00
Measure Tape - $25.00
Wood Blinds - $99.00

They look great. Did you have them cut to length at Home depot? I miss measured too. Luckily they wer too long and could be cut off a bit more.
