How do you prune a Limelight Hydranga

I pruned last year but think I cut wrong branches not very many flowers this year

    Limelight is a paniculata type hydrangea. They bloom on new wood and are more forgiving of pruning than other types, but really do not need to be pruned much other than for shape. As long as you do not prune when flower buds are opening, however, you should get blooms.

      Thanks for reply I have been wondering what to do or not do. I have cut flowers to bring inside for a winter bouquet and won't cut any further. Thanks again
