Sometimes You Just Need To Take a Nap!

I saw this really cute quote on Pinterest and just had to make it into a pallet sign!
For most of my signs, I use pallet wood. Sometimes I keep the wood raw and sometimes, as with this version, I paint the background. I used Peacock from American Paint Company on this fun sign.
For the lettering, I used a white chalk paint and a yellow sample pot of latex paint that I had on-hand. As I normally do, I cut a a vinyl stencil for my lettering. After applying the stencil to the painted pallet wood, I painted the letters and peeled off the adhesive stencil. I normally only apply one light coat of paint for the lettering although, on this sign, I did have to apply two coats of the yellow as it didn't cover as nicely as the chalk paint that I typically use.
I simply love the phrase on this sign. After all, a nap is pretty much a good cure for most anything! :)
