Monogrammed Table Makeover

I recently found a table at Goodwill for $5. I'm not sure of its original purpose. It could have been a child's desk or it might have just been a side table. Like any southern girl, I can’t resist a monogram, and gave the table an update with paint and an “S” for my last name.
I used Americana Decor Chalky Finish paint in Primitive, then painted the monogram a basic white from Lowe’s, and finally waxed and buffed the piece.
A small amount of repair was needed to make the table stable and then it was sanded and painted.
I’ve been wanting a table to put beside the chaise lounge in our family room. This table is the perfect size to hold a drink and a few magazines and its color looks nice with the upholstery on the chair.
