A Vintage Style Sled Crafted From Scraps of Plywood & Metal Leftover

After scanning the latest version of the Country Door Catalogue and viewing the prettiest decorative sleds I thought I can craft one ! We have been renovating the guest bathroom so we have some 3/4 in. plywood scraps and I had some scrolled decorative metal pieces left over from a wall type bakers rack so I got my jigsaw, sandpaper, paints etc. in gear!
I used a large piece of news paper to make the pattern.
2 coats of different paints

lots of sanding for aging
And a Company name of course
The sled measures a bit over 3 ft.
It wont take me anywhere but I sure cannot wait to deck it out with fresh greenery for the holidays! To see the exact painting process please come visit Sweet tea N' Salty Air
