American Pillar Rose One of My Favorites!
A once blooming Pink climbing rose, with beautiful pink blooms.
American Pillar rose
This is not a shy rose....It will grow 20' or more! So give it a spot with a strong support, and lots of room.
You'll get clusters of flowers that will simply wow you... The single bloom form flowers have carmine pink flowers with a white eye.(and pretty golden stamens). A single spray is a whole bouquet. I must admit that 'pink' roses are my favorite!
This one grows on the porch of a friends house. It's hard to stay 'in' the house when it is blooming. Isn't it spectacular?

I always want roses to bloom more than once, but that one certainly puts on a memorable show.

I have several once-blooming roses in my garden. The bushes are more disease resistant than others in the garden, and that one glorious bloom does last a long time, so I feel that they are well worth it!
