Douglas Hunt on Oct 27, 2014They are great on on flower beds if you shred them. If you don't, they can form a mat that will keep water from penetrating to the bed underneath.Helpful Reply

J markham on Oct 27, 2014It's compost. It will feed the plants. Add some marsh hay and lawn clippings to help it along and mix it all up a little. You'll end up with soil that looks like chocolate cake mix and is full of nutrients. Compost this way is perfect for plants. No need for chemical fertilizersHelpful Reply
