When I refreshed my mantel for fall this year, I decided to go with soothing neutrals and a mix of textures. What do you think?
I like to layer pieces on top of my big beveled mirror -- the mirror stays while the mantel transforms seasonally!
A flea market find -- the blue mason jar -- is perfect for dried hydrangeas from my garden. The cow canvas is from a local photographer.
This chippy open frame is a flea market find as well... it's still got a few small traces of gold on it!
I love the sweet little twine ball garland - texture and more texture!
Antique books are excellent ways to elevate another piece, like this grapevine acorn.
Lots to look at!
The nailhead pumpkin was a DIY project from three years ago -- I love it just as much now as i ever did!
Inexpensive faux pumpkins get a subtle makeover with chalk paint. I painted oodles of these last fall and they will last forever and get used year after year.
