Decorating for Fall - On a Budget

I love all the Fall decor that everyone has. The pumpkins, corn stalks, hay bales, pillows, and blankets all evoke such a homey feel. I decided to see if I could replicate that without spending much (and I didn't even spend a dime!).
I threw an old plaid blanket that I had over our bench. That immediately warmed up the bench.
I stopped by a park and gathered pinecones and just kept them in the crate that I gathered them in. I dug out an old coke crate and hung a little wooden pumpkin that I had.
I had one Himmeli wreath, but I made another one so that I would have two. I took some scrap fabric and just wrapped it around the wreaths.
I recovered one of our backyard summer outdoor pillows with more plaid fabric. With a bit of DIY, the sad front porch is now so welcoming.

Ashley@Biggerthanthethreeofus on Sep 18, 2015@Heathered Nest Thanks! I'm adding "create an inviting front porch" to my to-do right now! Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to making it cute this year.
