Design & Décor Furniture Revivals Painting

My niece and I worked on a Roadside Rescue for an Auction for FENNER Nature Center

My niece asked me to donate a piece of furniture to an auction she was doing for her Nature Center. We then decided it should be a rescue project...Come check out what we did and how we did it...From Ugly duckling to BEAUTIFUL swan. All while being Environmentally Friendly.

Don't be afraid to do this!! it's old, it can go back on the street!! I have done many old furniture "funky furniture" pieces, and now I have to find HOMES for them. NOthing quite this elegant, but you can always sand, repaint, re knob, glue, cover with duck tape as I did on legs of a desk (curbside acquisition a cat had scratched deeply)...go for it. The trick is to get it at thrift or free............it's addictive, be warned.

Marsha, for me it is an addiction that I love...I have a humpty dumpty desk here on hometalk too that was totally in pieces and the guy was taking it to the dump..along with the matching chair...now it is redone and someone has it in their home..Thats the addicting part for me..:)

Shut the front door! Absolutely stunning! I have a great dumpster dive project and a $7 dresser I bought at a garage sale that I've been looking to refinish. I absolutely love CeCe's paints and plan on using the simply white color. You have inspired me!
