Repurposed Vintage Red Locker Storage Bench

It started with just a vintage locker door and door frame - the rest is custom!
A locker bench! Plenty of storage and a great place to have a seat for a few folks.
The locker door and door trim/frame was all I had to go with. So I built the box to match the frame and gave it some baseboards.
A vintage, metal accent I've had for a while finally found a home to jazz up the front.
Antique Singer sewing machine base sides serve as great chair backs for the custom bench.
I divided the interior so I could turn the open space at the bottom of a traditional locker into its own secret space.
Voila! A secret little cubby!
Plenty of storage in the long space for blankets, linens, decorations or whatever you need to get out of sight!
Lots of distressing with the General Finishes milk paint gave it the final look I desired.
