My DIY Outdoor Sectional

When we moved to a new house we inherited a great patio in the backyard! We wanted to make it a nice hang-out spot for the summer by putting in an outdoor sectional. Buying one new is outrageous - so we decided to DIY our own! It's made completely of 2x4 lumber and the best part is we pulled the whole thing off for around $130!

See how we did it here: http://www.morelikehome.net/2011/06/our-new-...

You did a great job, Georgia. I can't believe you only spent $130.

Your husband got you a miter saw for Mother's Day???? What a wondeful husband. The project turned out beautifully.

Thank you for your post! We have a similar situation with a backyard cabana. I've been considering tearing down an old storage shed and making a sectional out of it for the cabana. Your post is the perfect inspiration to get me on the project!

Nice part about it is you don't have to worry about people or animals scratching the furniture because you didn't pay a fortune for the whole project. Would be great around a firepit too!
